A winter cap with a warming earflap.
Size: Baby/Toddler, Kids (S/M, L/XL)
Head circumference: 46-50, 50-54 (54-58, 57-62) cm
Gauge: 20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch
Needles: 3-4 mm circular needles, 60 cm cable or longer
Material:
50, 60 (70, 80) g Svarta Fåret Ulrika Natur or Drops Karisma (50 g = 100 m)
AND about 13, 16 (20, 24) g Isager Silk Mohair or Holst Titicaca (25 g = 225 m)
…or yarn that gives the same gauge!
About the pattern:
Snowy Side Cap is a knitted cap with earflaps and optional tie at the back. You work back and forth from the forehead towards the back of the head. After that you pick up and knit stitches to make the screen. Then you make an i-cord edge all along the outer part of the cap, before you pick up and knit stitches for the earflap. The earflap is then worked back and forth before it’s finished off with an i-cord. The pattern includes instructions for optional ties at the back as well as tips on how to block and shape your cap.

Beskrivning:
Snowy Side Cap är en stickad vinterkeps med öronlapp. Kepsen stickas fram och tillbaka från pannan mot nacken. Därefter plockas det upp maskor längs framkanten för att sticka skärmen, varpå det görs en i-cord kant runt hela ytterkanten. Det plockas upp maskor längs i-cord kanten för att göra öronlappen som även den avslutas med en i-cord kant. Mönstret innehåller även instruktioner för göra knytband i nacken, samt tips för hur man blockar kepsen på bästa sätt.
